Sandra Kohler's poetry has appeared in numerous publications, and she has taught at levels from elementary to university. The recipient of many awards and author of The Country of Women, she lives with her husband in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. The Ceremonies of Longing was selected for the 2002 AWP Award Series in Poetry by Cornelius Eady.
