Molly Peacock, currently poet-in-residence, Poet's Corner, at the Cathederal of St. John the Divine, divides her time between New York and Toronto. She is president emerita of the Poetry Society of America and one of the originators of Poetry in Motion, the popular program of placards on subways and buses. Woodrow Wilson fellow as well as lecturer at the Unterberg Poetry Center, 92nd Street Y, Peacock has been a writer in residence at numerous colleges and universities, including the University of Toronto's Taddle Creek Workshop. Her prose works include How to Read a Poem . . . and Start a Poetry Circle and Paradise, Piece by Piece. She is editor of the anthology The Private I: Privacy in a Public World.
