Matt Mason studied poetry at the University of California, Davis, and then of course moved to Omaha to work as a soundwalla on a freelance videophotography crew. He also works to organize and publicize poetry readings around Nebraska, running an open mic, a slam, and several reading series himself and getting the news on other readings out through the website he runs, poetrymenu.com. Mason has recently had his work published in Wisconsin Review, Bulkhead, Bovine Free Wyoming, Mid-American Review, Ellipsis, Rhino, and Laurel Review, as well as read on Radio Nederlands:Wereldomroep.
