Mark Halperin
teaches at Central Washington University. His newest book, Time As Distance,
(New issues Press, Western Michigan University) was published in Spring 2001. He enjoys speaking and translating
from Russian, and playing traditional music on banjo and guitar. His wife, their dog and cat and he live near
the trouty Yakima River, which he fishes avidly.
