Louise Ho
is Hong Kong's most recognized contemporary poet in English. Born and brought up mostly in Hong Kong, she has lived in Mauritius, England, America and Australia. She was an associate professor of English at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she taught creative writing, Shakespeare and English poetry. She has two collections of poetry, and her poems have been published internationally in literary journals. She is retired and now lives and writes in Australia and Hong Kong.
