Joshua McKinney's Saunter won the Unversity of Georgia Press Contmeporary Poetry Series competition in 2001. His work has appeared in American Letters & Commentary, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Poetry International, and many other journals. He teaches at California State University-Sacramento.
