Jim Barnes is the Editor of The Chariton Review, and a Professor of Comparative Literature at Truman State University Kirksville, Missouri. His numerous books include: Paris: Poems (Illinois, 1997); On Native Ground: Memoirs and Impressions (Oklahoma, 1997), which received an American Book Award; and On a Wing of the Sun: Three Volumes of Poetry (Illinois, 2001).
