Jay Wright
is the author of nine volumes of poetry, including Transfigurations: Collected Poems (Louisiana State University Press, 2000). He has received a number of awards, including an American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters Literary Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, a MacArthur Fellowship, & a National Endowment for the Arts grant. A volume of essays on his work recently appeared in the Modern Critical Views series edited by Harold Bloom. He lives in Bradford, Vermont.
