Giorgio Orelli
was born in 1921 in Canton Ticino, Switzerland, where he has lived in the city of Bellizona since 1945. He has published various collections of poetry, including Il collo dell'anitra (Garzanti, 2001). Poems of his appeared in Chelsea 11 (1962) in Lynne Lawner's translations.
Lynne Lawner poet, translator, & art historian, has published six books, including the illustrated study Harlequin on the Moon: Commedia dell'Arte and the Visual Arts (Abrams, 1998). Her articles, poetry, & translations have been published in many journals. She lives in New York.
