Ann Townsend's first collection of poetry, Dime Store Erotics, appeared in 1998. Her second collection, The Coronary Garden, is forthcoming from Sarabande Books. Poems from this collection appear in Poetry, The Nation, The Georgia Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a 2003 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. She teaches at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
