Henry Hughes' poems have recently appeared in North American Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, Sewanee Review, and Queen's Quarterly. He is the author of four poetry collections, including Men Holding Eggs, which received the Oregon Book Award, and Moist Meridian, which was a finalist for the OBA. Hughes is the editor of the Everyman's Library anthologies, The Art of Angling: Poems about Fishing, River Poems, and Fishing Stories. He is a regular book reviewer for Harvard Review and the director of Write Place: Literature, Arts & the Environment.
