Diane Seuss's sixth book is Modern Poetry (Graywolf Press 2024). frank: sonnets (Graywolf Press 2021), was the winner of the PEN/Voelcker Prize, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Pulitzer Prize. Seuss is a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow. She was raised by a single mother in rural Michigan, which she continues to call home.
