Today's poem is by Suphil Lee Park
Tunnel Vision
No time to lose today
to roaming the woods
or parse mean hindsights.
Woodman who loves the pine
strikes an ax to its core.
Few parry a blizzard.
Dave who loves prawns
beheads a whole afternoon
platter of them unkempt.
We who love this light
tune out the rest, fine.
A friendless fawn morphs
into a nymph into a cypress.
Stench rises from the snow
coated wolf warming up to
the sun on our lawn.
