Today's poem is by Rage Hezekiah
Glimmer
We control so little. Last
in my room, emerged
I couldn't save her. Maybe
above my bed. A siren song
night in the suburbs, I woke
to a firefly, trapped
from deep sleep to see
her flickered glow & knew
I was meant to wake
to her pulsing green light
for everything unmine
the abundance I've been given.
