Angeline Schellenberg
is the author of Tell Them It Was Mozart (Brick Books, 2016), recipient of the Lansdowne Prize for Poetry and Eileen McTavish Sykes Award for Best First Book and finalist for a Relit Award. Her second collection, Fields of Light and Stone (University of Alberta Press, 2020) was shortlisted for the 2022 KOBZAR Book Award. Angeline is a contemplative spiritual director and the host of Speaking CrowWinnipeg's longest-running poetry open mic. She lives on Treaty 1 Territory with her husband, adult children, and rescue dogs. Her third collection is forthcoming with At Bay Press in 2024. "Accordion" appears in the forthcoming collection Mondegreen Riffs by Angeline Schellenberg and is used with the permission of At Bay Press.
