Allison Joseph
is a poet and writer who teaches at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her most recent collections are Speak and Spell (Glass Lyre Press), Any Proper Weave (Kelsay Books), and Lexicon (Red Hen Press, winner of the Best Book of 2021 Award from the Poetry by the Sea Conference). She was recently named Illinois Author of the Year for 2022 by the Illinois Association of Teachers of English. She is the widow of the late poet and editor Jon Tribble.
