His new book, Flame in a Stable, and his chapbook Black Ops were published by Arrowsmith Press; Donald Hall chose his first book, The High Road to Taos, for the National Poetry Series. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film Passion in the Desert (Roland Films/Fine Line Features), an adaptation of the Balzac story.
