Charlotte Mandel's eleventh book of poetry is titled Alive and In Use: Poems in the Japanese Form of Haibun (Kelsay Books). A recent chapbook, Light's Music, is included in Delphi Series VIII (Blue Lyra Press 2020). Her awards include: Lifetime Achievement Award from Brooklyn College; New Jersey Poets Prize; two fellowships in poetry from New Jersey State Council on the Arts. She edited the Eileen W. Barnes award anthology of older women poets, Saturday's Women. Her critical essays include a series on the role of cinema in the life and work of H.D. (Hilda Doolittle).
