A. E. Stallings is a U.S.-born poet who lives in Athens, Greece. Her most recent poetry collection, Like (published by FSG) ,was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. A translator as well as poet, she has recently published translations of Hesiod's Works and Days (Penguin Classics) and the pseudo-Homeric The Battle Between the Frogs and the Mice (Paul Dry Books). She is still working on competing the jigsaw puzzle in the poem.
