Today's poem is by Gary Percesepe
how you died out in me
slowly,
like the last star
shivering in the
black skyeyes like lamps
inside me
at the point
where one says
neverdown to the last
worn out
knot of breathnot there, with a
splinter
of lifein the cross of
your arms everything
fell into youthen dimmed
out of a
thousand
light years
a few
minutes
remainedto know what you
gave to me
with no idea
what you
received
