Rebecca Doverspike grew up in WI though feels most at home by the ocean. She is currently training as a Resident Chaplain at MGH in Boston. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from West Virginia University and an MDiv from Harvard Divinity School. Every Present Thing a Ghost was published by Slapering Hol Press in 2019. Other work can be found in Ruminate, 5x5 Literary Magazine, Midwest Review, Leveler, Periphery, Valley Voices, and others. She loves writing letters to dear friends and taking long walks with them or with her pup in the woods. She is a practitioner of Zen Buddhism which continues to influence her work.
