Carolyne Wright
's most recent book is This Dream the World: New & Selected Poems (Lost Horse Press, 2017), whose title poem received a Pushcart Prize and was included in The Best American Poetry 2009. Her ground-breaking anthology, Raising Lilly Ledbetter: Women Poets Occupy the Workspace (Lost Horse, 2015), received ten Pushcart Prize nominations. She teaches for Seattle's Richard Hugo House. A Contributing Editor for the Pushcart Prizes, Wright has received grants from the Fulbright Foundation (Chile, India, Bangladesh), the NEA, 4Culture, and the Seattle Arts Commission. In 2018 she held an Instituto Sacatar residency in Bahia, Brazil; and she has received a 2020-2021 Fulbright Scholar Award to Salvador, Bahia, which she will take up after the worldwide pandemic travel advisory is lifted.
