Alan C. Fox is a New York Times bestselling author whose People Tools books transform lives and whose illustrated books for children entertain and delight. Having achieved success in many different arenas, he joyfully shares his wisdom with children and adults alike. Not only has Alan built Los Angeles-based ACF Property Management into a billion-dollar company, but he has been active in the worlds of literature and philanthropy as well. He is the founding editor of Rattle, one of the country's preeminent poetry journals which publishes work by new and established writers, and sponsors an annual prize. He also created The Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation, named after his mother, to provide funding to maximize the potential of youth. In honor of his father, Alan endowed the Fred Fox School of Music at the University of Arizona several years ago.
