Today's poem is by Myronn Hardy
You: An Apparition
The you not there.
The you I think of beneath yellow leaves.
The you I love beneath yellow leaves.
The sun's yellow rendering me
without courage to appear where
you are the apparition
I am where you sleep.
I'm the intensity in the room.
Your hands over eyes can't save sight.
Let the yellow blister
as you have blistered me.
Oh love look.
On the nightstand the clay bowl of lemons.
One is molding blue.
We dive there spores
make us cough.
How damp this blue
with you not even there.
