Prisoners' Parable of the Flood
I, even I, do bring a .flood of waters upon the earth. Gen. 6: 17
When the flood comes, we understand it
first with our mouths because we fill
like heavy vases, our tongues wilted
flowers. We bloat, we are our own boats.
Hand in hand with the dead, we ferry
ourselves across the water. We are told
the flood is God because we are filled
with it. We are heavy with His love.
