Bernadette Cremin
has published three previous collections of poetry: Perfect Mess (Biscuit Publishing) Speechless, Miming Silence (Waterloo Press) and Loose Ends (Pighog Press). Her work has won various awards. Her one-woman show 'Altered Egos,' six poetic monologues depicting six untidy lives, was awarded Arts Council of England funding after being made runner-up Best Literary/Performance Piece at the Brighton Fringe Festival. Cremin has collaborated with musicians, film-makers, scientists and photographers. Her first spoken-word CD, “Sensual Assassins”, was released by State Art in 1998 and was followed in 2015 by a second spoken-word CD, “Guilty Fist”. Her film work includes the film Inside Skin; and her photography work includes Birth and Science (Promise or Threat). She also reads her work extensively in the UK and Ireland.
