His poetry is published and forthcoming in several journals, including the Birmingham Poetry Review, Construction, Plain songs, Fogged Clarity, and Finelines. He has received the Miriam McFall Starlin Poetry Prize and Irby F. Wood Prize among other awards for his work. He was born and raised in Geneva, Nebraska.
