Today's poem is by Michelle Gil-Montero
Once
Once again begins
With onceThen crunches underfoot
The alwaysUnseasonable yellow
LeavesAnd restlessness
And once againLike charts accruing moons
At different degrees
Of satiationIt is a time of many
Half-thoughts
Quick-edged as cut-outsOnce my window is a book
Of esoteric recipes
For sleep
