The New Religion
Alas.
Jude finds himself
Alone in a vastBeige sky-wide room.
Perhaps, he thinks, if I runForever in that directions
Silence. A hum of it.One = a simple, empty Desert.
One = a gleaming, peopled City. One is always alone.
One is never alone.Jude sits cross-legged
To face the godWho would make a world
So big and beige and plain.
