T. J. Beitelman's first full-length collection of poems, In Order to Form a More Perfect Union, was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2012. He’s published two poetry chapbooks, Pilgrims: A Love Story, also from Black Lawrence Press, and Thirteen Curses and Other Love Poems from Dream Horse Press. His stories, poems, and essays have appeared widely in literary magazines, and he has two more titles forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press: John the Revelator, a novel due out in 2013, and Americana, a poetry chapbook, due out in 2015. He lives in Birmingham, Alabama, where he teaches creative writing at the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
