Monica Berlin's work has appeared or is forthcoming in Ninth Letter, Third Coast, Dislocate, Artful Dodge, The Missouri Review, After Hours, Diagram, Fourteen Hills, New Orleans Reviews, Rhino, Memoir (And), and Passages North, where she was awarded the 2009 Thomas R. Hruska Memorial Prize in nonfiction. Currently, an Associate Professor at Knox College in Galesburg, IL., where she teaches poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction, Berlin also serves as the Associate Director for the Program in Creative Writing.
