Bob Hicok
's newest book is Words for Empty and Words for Full (U of Pittsburgh P). His other books include This Clumsy Living (Pitt), which was awarded the 2008 Bobbin Prize from the Library of Congress; Insomnia Diary (Pitt); Animal Souls (Invisible Cities), which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award; Plus Shipping (BOA); and The Legend of Light (U of Wisconsin P), which received the Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry and was named a 1997 ALA Booklist Notable Book of the Year. A recipient of Pushcart Prizes, a Guggenheim, and NEA Fellowships, he has been selected for inclusion in multiple volumes of BestAmerican Poetry. He is an associate professor of English at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
