’s first collection, Floating City (LSU Press), received the Academy of American Poets Walt Whitman Award. Honors include a Fellowship in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts and a "Discovery"/The Nation poetry prize. Her recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, The Hudson Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review, The Southern Review, Literary Imagination, Raritan, Hotel Amerika, Image, and The Southern Poetry Review.
