studied at Oberlin College and the University of Iowa and has published widely. New work is forthcoming or has recently appeared in FIELD, Margie, Poet Lore, Sonora Review and elsewhere. He won the 2009 Bridport Prize and his first collection was a finalist for the 2009 Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize.
