X. J. Kennedy has two recent collections, In a Prominent Bar in Secaucus: New and Selected Poems (Johns Hopkins University Press) and Peeping Tom's Cabin: Comic Verse (BOA Editions). A new book of poems for children is forthcoming from Tradewind Books of Vancouver. In April he will be given the Robert Frost Medal of the Poetry Society of America.
