John Gallaher is the author of three books of poetry, including The Little Book of Guesses (Four Way Books) and Map of the Folded World (University of Akron Press, 2009). Recent poems appear in FIELD, Denver Quarterly, and The Best American Poetry 2008. He lives in rural Missouri where he co-edits The Laurel Review.The poems in this issue come from a manuscript that he is writing with G.C. Waldrep, titled Your Father on the Train of Ghosts.
