's poems have appeared in Slate, The Paris Review, and Ploughshares. Her collection, The Next Country, was selected for a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship in 2005. A book of her translations of the Brazilian poet Paulo Henriques Britto received a Translation Award from PEN. She teaches at Columbia University.
