Mary Ruefle is the author of ten books of poetry, including A Little White Shadow (Wave Books, 2006). Her poems and prose have appeared in Harper's, Best American Poetry, and the Next American Essay. Ruefle's many awards include a Guggenheim and an NEA. She is frequently a visiting professor at the University of Iowa, and she lives and teaches in Vermont.
