is a Milliman Distinguished Writer-in-Resident at the University of Washington in Seattle, and a regular visitor to the low-residency MFA program at Warren Wilson College in Ashville, NC. Her most recent collection of poems was Eyeshot (Wesleyan University Press); her essays are collected in a volume called Broken English: Poetry and Partiality (Wesleyan University Press).
