Alice Friman's most recent collection of poems is The Book of the Rotten Daughter (2006). Her book Zoo (1999) won the Ezra Pound Poetry Award from Truman State University and the Sheila Motton Prize from the New England Poetry Club. New work appears in Poetry, The Gettysburg Review, The Georgia Review, Shenandoah, The Florida Review, and others. She lives in Milledgeville, where she is the poet-in-residence at Georgia College & State University.
