Today's poem is by Danielle Pafunda
Pearl
Permanent prenatal nimbus, whack-skulled
and coreless. A dim sob, your patina. Ductless,
weep not, but swoon. Adored solder, head-drilled
emissary. In the privilege tents, you cauterize.
Make a prosthetic heart and fibrillate.Oh little wine glut. Oh little about whom little.
Precious gut fed tumor moon. Rigged spectral
bloodless treasure. Asexual dilettante, dandy
parasite. Replicated endlessly along the flesh-
proud wire.Kin to the calcified fetus, you pledge constant
companionship. Hush-hush and organ-palmed.
