At the bank I've been
trying nights when the pipes
knock that's the heat
coming on.

                  Heat's schooling

due the wind jellies windows across
the way I let the hand-dryer
sink in too long timetables away from
my voluble home

                  the dinner scum

done. I will the microwaves full
frontal at the hum this unplated
wet this phoned-in
vegetable

                  rim. Sleepyheads you know only

my unrinsed breakfast
glass of half-full all
day waiting. Go in and
kiss them visitor suited

                  up. Man on the rung.
