The roof fell in
media res.We fled
into the trees. But that part of
roof that was ceilingthat was glass,
we carry with ushere, he said,
touching his headto his heart.
The roof fell inin place and we
fled hereand here,
carrying our headsin our hands,
holding our handsto the light,
to that part of lightthat was glass
and fell inabsentia.
