is the author of the poetry collection Borrowed Towns (Word Press) and several poetry chapbooks, including Monster Gallery: 19 Terrifying and Amazing Monster Sonnnets! (Snark Publishing). His poems, stories, and essays have appeared in "American Life in Poetry," Best American Poetry 2006, Boulevard, Poetry East, The Sun, and NPR's The Writer's Almanac. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he edits River Styx.
