Mike Dockins
's first full-length collection of poems, Slouching in the Path of a Comet, is forthcoming from Sage Hill Press early in 2007. A nominee for Best New Poets 2006 and for a Pushcart prize, Mike is co-founding editor of Redactions: Poetry & Poetics. His poems have appeared in numerous journals, including The Gettysburg Review, Crazyhorse, and Third Coast, and they have been featured on Verse Daily. "Dead Critics Society" a double abecedarian like "Timbuktu" will appear in The Best American Poetry 2007, guest edited by Heather McHugh. Mike also appears with his band Clop.
