Today's poem is by Hayden Draper
If You Cannot Be True
Like the golem, roam our city
at my bidding. Love other women
the way I asked you; touch them
with my thumb's inkprint,
my pupil's pinprick, turn their necks
with my absent tongue. When I call,
climb back in bed, our box:
shut out the light of the faithless world.
