Today's poem is by Idra Novey
Aubade
I follow a stray dog
so he'll stop following meand a violin starts forming
in the pockets of my coat.I have no ear for tuning,
but it is six A.M. and I willsoon be the owner
of a complete instrument.Now it's almost seven o'clock,
and an awkward torso of woodis digging at my side
