Patrick Rosal grew up in Edison, NJ and is the author of two full-length collections of poetry, Uprock Headspin Scramble and Dive, which won the Asian American Writers Workshop Members Choice Award, and My American Kundiman, forthcoming from Persea Books. His poems have been published in many journals and anthologies including North American Review, The Literary Review, and The Beacon Best 2001.
