Julianne Buchsbaum's first book, Slowly, Slowly, Horses, was published in 2001 by Ausable Press. She has an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and is working on a Ph. D. in Creative Writing at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, Denver Quarterly, Conduit, Delmar, and Harvard Review.
