Jendi Reiter's
first book, A Talent for Sadness, was published in 2003 by Turning Point Books. Her work has appeared in Poetry, The New Criterion, The Sow's Ear Poetry Review, Clackamas Literary Review, Alligator Juniper, Best American Poetry 1990 and many other publications. Awards include two prizes from the Poetry Society of America, the 2004 Olay Total Effects Fine Lines Poetry Prize, and the 2002 Mildred Werba Award from the Baltimore Writers' Alliance. She is the editor of Poetry Contest Insider, a quarterly guide to over 650 poetry contests, published by Winning Writers.
